Aaand it’s over! Thanks to everyone who hosted us, supported us, fed and watered us, surveyed with us, and kept us going these past few weeks. Trenton is an amazing city.
After just three weeks, we’ve got data on 11,000 parcels, made the front page of the Times, and landed our second article in the Trentonian. Many thanks to the hosts, supporters, and friends who are making this possible!
This coming week: Wilbur Section. Say hi if you spot the bright orange team.
Thanks to everyone who hosted, helped, and surveyed with us over the last two weeks! We are now officially a week ahead of schedule, so everyone who has been waiting should get in touch asap to schedule a survey day.
Coming up next week: East Trenton, with thanks to our generous hosts at the East Trenton Collaborative, and possibly Villa Park. Stay tuned.
Congratulations to everyone who worked hard these first two days! We’re on track and have 1400 parcels done - despite rain, bugs, a murdered fellow getting fished out of the canal, and issues syncing. Tomorrow we’re based at Mercer Street Friends, 222 N Hermitage Ave - we always welcome volunteers.
We’ve scheduled the first phase of the vacant property survey. Click on neighborhoods to see where and when to join us. Phase II will be posted shortly. Email firstname.lastname@example.org with questions.
Update: We’ve revised the initial map, as we were moving dramatically ahead of schedule.
Get trained to fight blight! Learn how to collect data on vacant properties over the summer, play with the app, do a demo in the Old Trenton neighborhood, and meet other folks who care.
